The Snow People Space Travel to Texas Initiative
There are presently no open calls for applications.
This Summer Snow People Will Be Coming to Earth.
With the help of a grant from the Idea Fund and the Idea Fund Partners: The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Aurora Picture Show, Diverse Works and Project Row Houses, six Snow People will arrive to earth in the form of puppets designed by JooYoung Choi.
Each of these Snow People puppets will get live with a host family here in Houston* for one week.

***IF YOU ARE APPLYING AND FROM A NON-HOUSTON CITY, IT IS REQUIRED YOU ARE ABLE TO RECEIVE AND SHIP YOUR SNOW PERSON***

Applicants will be chosen by a selection committee consisting of curator Beatrice Chan, artist Nathaniel Donnett, artist Abijan Johnson, and intergalactic exchange program specialist JooYoung Choi.
Chosen applicants will be notified at the end of June, and an official announcement will be released at the beginning of July.
